Terms of Use

These terms apply to mmx-game-studio.com, the English website of MMX Studio, and to the studio's games: TechLab and Sweet Sort. By using the website or installing a game you accept them; if you do not agree, please do not use the website or the games.

Version of 26 September 2026. If the terms change, this page changes too and gets a new date.

Who the website is for

The website is meant for players outside Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The Russian version is at mmx-studio.ru.

What the website is

The website tells about the studio and its games. It sells nothing, has no accounts and asks you for no data. The games are distributed through app stores: installing, buying, refunds and updates follow the rules of the store, not these terms.

The games: what you get

For each game you get a simple (non-exclusive) right to use it on your own devices for personal, non-commercial purposes. The right has no time limit and applies in the store you installed the game from. The studio keeps the exclusive rights to the games, their code, texts, images, sound and characters.

• TechLab: the first era is free in full. The rest is unlocked by a single in-app purchase, with no subscriptions.
• Sweet Sort is free. You can buy lives and helpers in the game, but no level requires a purchase. There are no subscriptions and no repeat charges. Ads are short rewarded videos, and only the player starts them.
• The store is the seller. It takes the payment and issues the receipt; the studio never sees or receives your card details. Refunds follow the rules of the store and consumer protection law.
• What you may not do: study the code in ways the law does not allow, change or repackage the games, distribute or sell copies of them, get around purchases by replacing the save file, or present the games or parts of them as your own.
• Recording the games is fine. Videos, streams, screenshots and reviews, including monetised ones, are allowed without asking. We only ask you to name the game and the studio.

If a child is playing

If the player is under 14, a parent or other legal guardian accepts these terms for them. The same adult decides whether to buy anything in the game.

The studio's materials

Texts, images, logos, screenshots and other game materials on the website belong to the studio or are used with permission. You may view them and share links to them.

• Press kits. The materials of the games' press kits, such as the TechLab press kit, may be used in articles, reviews, videos and streams about the game without asking - as they are, without changes that distort them.
• Everything else - commercial use, changing the logos, using the materials in a way that suggests the studio endorses you - needs written permission: write to support@mmx-studio.ru.

Fair use of the website

Please do not disrupt the website, load it with automated requests heavier than normal browsing, or try to get around access limits - for example, the handbook that stays closed until the game is released.

Links to other websites

The website links to app stores, YouTube, VK and other services. They have their own rules, and the studio is not responsible for their content or for what happens there.

The games change

The studio keeps the information accurate, but games change: features, screenshots, platforms, purchases and release dates may differ from what the website says today. The website and the games are provided as they are.

Liability and your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing in them limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Privacy

What a game sends out, what only with your consent and to whom is described in each game's privacy policy: TechLab and Sweet Sort. What the website itself does with personal data is described in the website privacy policy.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, please write to support@mmx-studio.ru first: most questions are easier to settle by letter.
