Sweet Sort privacy policy

This document is about Sweet Sort, a mobile game for Android (in RuStore it is listed as «Ассорти: сладкая сортировка», package com.MMXStudio.SweetSort.Rustore): what data it processes, why, on what legal basis, who receives it and how to object. The website itself is covered separately, in the website privacy policy. The studio is based in Russia, so the policy is published under Article 18.1(2) of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”.

For now the game itself is in Russian only. Its screens, including the consent screen and the settings, are in Russian, so this page quotes their labels in Russian with a translation.

Version of 26 September 2026. If the data changes, this page changes with it and carries a new version date.

In short, for parents

  • There is no account: the game never asks for a name, an email address or a phone number.
  • The game sends statistics only if someone tapped «Хорошо» (“OK”) on the «Поможете нам?» (“Will you help us?”) screen. You can change your mind in the settings, under «Статистика» (“Statistics”).
  • Ads are rewarded videos only, and only the player starts them. They run in child mode and without personalisation.
  • Purchases go through RuStore: the studio never sees your card details.

What the game does not have

There is no registration and no account. The game never asks for your name, email address or phone number. The application requests no permissions for the camera, microphone, contacts, files or location at all. Your progress is a file on your device.

The application has no advertising identifier permission either: the game strips it from the build. On Android 13 and later, without that permission Google services return zeros instead of the identifier. On earlier Android versions the permission is not checked, and the ad network may obtain the identifier if the device has Google services; the game does not allow the network to target ads by it (see “Showing rewarded videos” below).

Android automatic backup is switched off for the game: your save does not go into the phone’s cloud backup.

What always leaves the device

This is how the application, the store and rewarded videos work. It needs no separate consent and cannot be switched off inside the game.

  • Crash, freeze and error reports through the Tracer service: the error stack, the device model and the OS version. Besides crashes, it receives errors the game keeps running after, such as the store or the ads not responding: the error text and its stack, no more than one report per error per session.
  • Purchases through RuStore and restoring them on another phone. The studio neither sees nor receives your card details - the payment happens entirely on the store side.
  • A cloud copy of your progress in your RuStore game profile, if you are signed in to the store.
  • Updates and rating: RuStore tells the game about a new version and shows the window for rating the game.
  • Remote settings: the game gets settings from RuStore that the studio changes without releasing a new version, such as limits on videos.
  • A push notification token: so that a notification can reach you, RuStore issues the device a technical identifier.
  • Showing rewarded videos through the Yandex Advertising Network and its mediation partners, VK Ads included. Only the player starts a video, but the network loads it in advance, from the game’s launch, so that it does not load on tap. For that the ad SDK and the AppMetrica built into it receive the device details needed to load and show the video and the IP address of the request. On every launch the game tells the network that the audience is children and declines ad personalisation. In child mode the network, according to the Yandex Mobile Ads documentation, limits the collection of user data.

The lollipop reminder

When the lollipops run out, the game asks «Напомнить, когда леденцы вернутся?» (“Remind you when the lollipops are back?”). It asks for the notification permission (on Android 13 and later - a system dialog) only there, not on first launch. There is one reminder - that the lollipops are back. It is local: the game sets it on the phone itself, and nothing leaves the device for it. You can turn it off in the Android notification settings.

What leaves only with your consent

On first launch, before the first level, the game shows the «Поможете нам?» (“Will you help us?”) screen with the buttons «Хорошо» (“OK”) and «Не отправлять» (“Don’t send”). Until you answer, nothing below is collected; after “Don’t send” - neither. You can change the answer at any time in the game settings, under «Статистика» (“Statistics”).

With consent the game records de-identified statistics:

  • starting, winning, getting stuck on and leaving a level: level number, attempt, moves, time, stars, tools taken;
  • the start and length of a play session, the game version, the number of stars and lollipops;
  • rewarded videos: where one was started, whether it was watched to the end, why it was not shown, which network showed it and what the impression earned;
  • tool use, continuing a level and the moment the lollipops ran out;
  • purchase outcome: which item and how the purchase ended;
  • the install source from RuStore and the ad campaign labels, if the game was installed through a link that carries them - once per install;
  • crashes as the game itself sees them: a code number of the error and whether the game closed, without the error text;
  • a random install identifier - a number the game invents itself to tell one playthrough from another. It is tied to no name, no email and no device. Without consent there is none.

There is no name, email or contact in the statistics. They are kept as a file on the device and go to MyTracker (VK), the analytics service where the studio looks at summary reports. Along with the events, the tracker SDK itself records the install and the play sessions. Without consent the tracker does not start at all.

Switching «Статистика» off erases the collected statistics and deletes the install identifier. What has already reached MyTracker the studio cannot erase from there - collection simply stops.

Who receives the data

All recipients are third parties. Every one of them has its own data policy, and its terms apply alongside this page.

RecipientWhat and why
RuStore (VK)purchases and restoring them, the cloud game profile, updates and the rating window, remote settings, push notifications; the game asks RuStore for the install source only with your consent
Tracer (VK)crash, freeze and error reports
Yandex Advertising Network and its mediation partners, VK Ads includedloading and showing rewarded videos; in child mode and without personalisation
AppMetrica (Yandex)the technical side of serving ads inside the ad SDK; the game sends no statistics of its own there
MyTracker (VK)game statistics, the install source and campaign labels - only with your consent

Legal basis

Everything listed under “What always leaves the device” is processed under Article 6(1)(5) of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ: without it the game cannot deliver the service itself - sell and restore a purchase, keep your progress in the profile, update, get its settings, deliver a notification, show a video the player started for a reward, tell the developer about a crash.

Everything listed under “What leaves only with your consent” is processed on the basis of consent - Article 6(1)(1) of the same law. Consent is given on the «Поможете нам?» screen or in the settings and withdrawn in the same place.

There is no targeted advertising in the game: the game turns on child mode and declines personalisation, and the studio does not use players’ data to promote goods. That is why the game does not ask for consent to advertising under Article 15 of the same law.

How long it is kept

  • Progress, settings and your answer about statistics stay in a file on the device while the game is installed; the install identifier stays there too, as long as consent is in place.
  • Statistics on the device are a file of at most 512 KB: older records give way to newer ones, and switching statistics off erases the file.
  • The cloud copy of your progress is kept in your RuStore game profile until it is deleted through the store.
  • Retention on the recipients’ side is set by each of them in its own policy - the links are in the table above.

Your rights and how to use them

  • Withdraw consent - switch «Статистика» off in the game settings. Collection stops, and the collected statistics and the install identifier are deleted from the device.
  • Refuse notifications - say no when the game asks, or later turn the game’s notifications off in the Android settings.
  • Delete the data on the device - delete the game. Delete the cloud copy of your progress in your RuStore game profile.
  • Reset or turn off the advertising identifier - in the Android settings, if the device has Google services.
  • Request information about processing, correction, blocking or deletion of data - by writing to maxg@mmx-studio.ru. We reply within 10 working days; if we need more time, we will let you know and extend it by no more than 5 working days (Article 20 of Law No. 152-FZ). Data already received by the third parties in the table above is deleted under their own rules: apply to them, the links to their policies are there.
  • Complain about the studio - to Roskomnadzor, the Russian data protection authority, or to a court.

Children and parents

Children play Sweet Sort too. That is why the videos run in child mode and without personalisation, and the game asks for consent to statistics only.

The player's age does not change what always leaves the device: when a video is shown, the ad network receives device information and the IP address, and the store and Tracer receive what is listed above. The game does not allow the network to target ads with this data.

If the player is under 14, an adult makes the decision about statistics; until the consent screen is answered, no statistics are collected.

Changes

If the data changes - for example, a new service or a new statistics event appears - the studio will publish a new version of this page with a new date before the change reaches the game.
